Crash Bmsqt2.7
Bmsqt 2.7 crashes immediately after it is connected to my pytes v5 accu’s. A connection is established and the basic data is displayed. But right after the 3 batteries are shown at the top of the screen, the application crashes. The application does create a crash dump, but where should I send it to? Does anyone know where I should be for support.

Try to update the BMSQT to the latest version to see if the problem still exist.

The actual problem why I tried this was that the batteries in combination with a Victron Multiplus 5000, from a soc around 60% allow a very low charging current. I understand that this can sometimes be solved with a firmware update. My question is, would this also be the solution for me. Attached a screen dump of BMSQT.

I fell into the same trap yesterday.
Bought the expensive Pytes Console Cable, downloaded the program from the Pytes website, installed it on my Windows 11 partition, connected to the battery stack, and the program crashed after about 3 seconds after logging in.
It was only here in the forum that I came across this ‘…Nologo’ program version. It works. Very good! 😉

PS: Is there anywhere a linux version of this program?
Because of the difficulties of the hard coded FTDI API calls within the BMSQT program, it not runs at linux, cause the program don’t see the necessary DLL under wine…
Or has somebody a solution for “BMSQT in wine” at linux?
