  • Ebox 48100r BMS permanently locked

Posted by k_dub on May 14, 2026 at 5:05 pm

I have 3 48100r’s on a site that I am having issues with. The system had low pv production for a week due to cloudy weather and shut down. I have followed the black start directions and they seem to not be helping. All of the lights are illuminated on all 3 batteries, and they are not taking a charge. I’ve tried 2 different chargers to make sure it wasn’t a voltage issue although both fall with the parameters suggested for charging them. I have also connected a charged battery to turn the system on hoping that the pv might yield some different results. As mentioned, all of the lights are illuminated solid and stay that way for about 10 minutes. Is there some step I am missing to get these charged back up?

It seems batteries were over discharged. over discharging battery can damage battery cells.
    1. How long have you over discharge battery? if its over discharged for very long time it can’t be recovered.

    2. Tell me about your location (country /city)?
    3. Can you measure any voltage on battery terminal? by using DMM
    4. Battery can’t charge below zero degree temperatures so make sure battery is not in extreme temperature conditions.

    5. If no voltage on battery terminals then we need to measure voltage of each pack.

    6. Give me your whatsapp or email for quicker communication.
    7. Do you have a DC charger for battery?

Precaution: “don’t try to charge battery, it can be dangerous”

i am waiting for your response

I will be going back out to the site within the next week and I will get voltage readings. I do have a charger. There is no battery voltage at terminals so I figure it will need to be checked internally. Also the temperatures are typically around 85°

its highly recommended to go to site soon. if battery kept over-discharged(at very low voltage) for a long time it can permanently damage battery cells. and will become almost impossible to recover battery. don’t further discharge, don’t try to charge and don’t start battery. I will guide you through the process when you arrive at site. give me your email i will send you instruction about battery recovery

Frustratingly, your batteries might be stuck in a deep discharge cycle, much like a stuck character in a JJWin game that refuses to progress past a certain level. The solid lights often signal a fault mode, not just low charge visit site —almost like hitting a wall in a game where no action seems to work.
