ebox charges to 90%, plateaus, then continues to 100%
i have a new solar install; dec 2024. i have 12 ebox (61.4kwh) batteries in closed-loop with a sol-ark 15k. i’ve noticed the charging plateaus at 90% for about 90 minutes and then quickly reaching 100%. what’s going on? i understand that the BMS is running the show but what’s it doing and is it the expected behavior? (the BMS has set float, absorption, and equalization to 56.8v in the 15k.) thanks.

I have 8x E-Box 48100R-C and I experience the same thing. I noticed a similar behavior when discharging; they report 9% for more than half an hour, despite using 5-6% per hour. The grid was down at the time. I figured it’s just data reporting error, nothing more

Hi Ronald, It’s normal, because above 90% the battery soc will start calibration
thank you. the calibration time has reduced now to about 15-20 minutes. the system is working very well.
