HoyMiles HAS with 2 Pytes V5a issues
Hello,
I do have an HoyMiles solar installation, I do have 2 pytes V5a batteries, if I connect 1 battery all is working perfectly.
When trying to connect my second battery the connection is lost and it doesn’t work. Is there some specific setup required to have 2 batteries with HoyMiles HAS inverter.
Dip switch has been set as
Bat 1 all are set to off
Bat 2 1 off, 2 On and 5-6 On
Câble from HAS to Port 1
Câble between 2 batteries Port 0 to port 1
Any help, advice will be very much appreciated.

One more thing I tried like described in the manual HAS to CAN and from bat 1 to 2 port 1 to port 0
Thanks, as suggested I set the switch 6 to “On” of the Master Battery. And all switches of the Salve battery to “Off”. Non all is working ok … Thanks for your help.
Anither question is about Firmware Update, My main soft Version is “V1.10.12.C16” I am from France, I am wondering is an Update is required, and if so where can I find the correct download page ?

sorry for my late answer, thanks for the pointer, however this firmware seems to be for V5 USA and CA, I am from Europe and using a V5a.
do you confirme that’s really compatible with my Pytes Version, I want to avoid breaking batteries 😉
You have no worries of the region, different place is the same.
V5 & V5 α share the same software.
