Questions regarding Limits for charging and discharging
Hello to all,
since the update to firmware C16 I noticed, that the batteries are charging up to only 90% SOC – not to 100% as with former firmware.
Is that correct, that there is a limitation, e.g. for protecting the batteries ?
Another question:
So far, I have set a limit in my Deye inverter to ensure that the batteries do not discharge below 20%.
What is the recommended lower limit for the batteries?Thank you in advance,

Regarding your first question, Please share some pictures of batteries SOC, is there a SOC difference between batteries? i guess all the batteries have same firmware version, just to confirm.About your second question, you can set lower soc limit to either 10% or 20%, both fine.

I have 3 battery blocks. Infos as shown in the attached pictures.
All batteries have the same bootloader v1.14 and the same firmware SPBMS16SRPV1.5.25.C16.The question is, why the charging process stops at 90% and if there is a limitation, which came with the new firmware?
End of october, we had some sunny days, batteries went up to 90%, and then the additional energy was given to the grid instead of charging up to 100% as with former firmware.Thank you for your reply and support.
