I have made a simple test. Victron ESS minimum state of charge set to 75%, the MPs goes to RECHARGE mode, 6kW from the grid.

The newer batts. shows a significant higher charge current. It is simple physics: R=U/I
In my opinion: No firmware version can solve this problem.
